THE STORY OF
our tricycle
It all began on a trip where Ileana and Lopito traveled to accept one of their Clio Awards.
Lopito, a passionate antiques collector, came across an artistic tricycle and instantly knew he had to take it with him.
But between peanuts and soft drinks on the flight back, creativity did what it always does when it refuses to switch off.
The logo was born using the most advanced technology available at the time: a napkin.

A tricycle turned into a brand. An image that could represent the three of them.

When Ileana saw it...
SHE UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING.

And when Howie saw it, he simply loved it. That’s how the LIH logo was born:
improvised, honest, creative.

Each one was important in their time, pushing things forward through their unique strengths.

Over time, that symbol has become more than a logo, representing what has sustained LIH since its founding:
We are the largest independent agency in Puerto Rico, and we know what it truly means to think independently, to question, challenge, push ourselves, and let our clients challenge us to go further.
That independence allows us to do something increasingly rare in our industry: create art and tell authentic stories without fear.
We’re driven by a love of what’s different and well crafted—design and thinking with real value.
For us, art isn’t decoration; it’s the foundation of our craft and the impact we create in the market.

We treat our clients, team, and partners with respect, honesty, and transparency. We believe in meaningful relationships, built with care. That human approach is essential to how we work, and one of the reasons our tricycle keeps moving forward.
We pedal with dedication on every project, driven by the joy of creating and the responsibility of delivering work that truly makes a mark.
Thank you to everyone who pedals alongside us every day.
More than 50 years ago, Lopito, Ileana, and Howie hopped on that tricycle…and we’ve been moving forward ever since.
